Should I resit GCSE Maths for Medicine?

I have been planning on doing Medicine for a very long time, however I personally do not fit the entry requirements, and will need to resit GCSE maths to achieve 6 GCSEs at grade 7, under the contextual offer. I am pondering if this is worthwhile or I should give up, considering I need to revise for my alevel subjects simultaneously to achieve triple AAA. On top of this, I am highly demotivated as the acceptance rate for an undergraduate Medicine degree at University of Manchester is 7 in 20, the likelihood of me being accepted at a low.
Any help would be highly appreciated, thank you.
only you can answer if you want to do medicine or not. If you do then you know what you need to achieve to fulfil this desire. There are other unis other than Manchester which will be easy to get into, maybe look at those as well. I was under the impression unis wanted Bs or Cs in maths as a minimum (can’t remember) for med.

No uni is easy to get into but being so specific regarding manchester is disadvantaging you as there are plenty of other medicals schools which accept lower than manchester
