Advice on the courses offered at NU

Can anyone who studies economics or compsci tell me what studying here is like? ThankS

I didn't have either of these as my "major" but I did do economics as an elective (one economics elective per semester) and I found them both quite interesting. I'm more mathsy so I enjoyed microeconomics more as the assignments were largely based on graphing and reading graphs from what I remember. That being said, I still really enjoyed macroeconomics which was much more essay-based. In terms of lectures, I had two 1.5 hour sessions a week. Sometimes they followed the style of lecture then seminar but sometimes not depending on what you're currently focussing on. I hope this helps! :smile:
