Are CGP guides for A-level Biology and Chemistry supportive?

Throughout Year 11, during my revision, I consistently used CGP revision guides to aid me, and ended up achieving high grades in both Biology and Chemistry. However, I am pondering whether I should purchase the books again for A-level, but I know A-level content is a lot more, so am debating if a textbook would be any better.

Honestly speaking as someone who did a level chem I found the CGP books useless because the content is difficult to understand but that’s just my opinion I know a lot of ppl who ac found it useful but chemistry consists of a lot of calculations and it’s all about practice. Instead of buying the CGP books use website called chemrevise I cannot recommend this enough it has super concise notes for all exam boards no waffle organised by each module with practical guides included just that itself and watching machem guy is enough to get you an A in chem trust me.
