Kings College Accommodation

Hi
Will the option to book accommodation only be available when firm letter arrives please? Until now as was insurance choice I haven’t been able to register - will new letter arrive with KCL
ID to book?

Hi, I'm not sure if this applies for KCL but for UCL students who had UCL as an insurance choice had to get on a waitlist for accommodation. Also not sure if accom details are given out by letter? Normally things like that are given online and through email.

please reconsider going to kings. its horrible overrated uni the disability support is hopeless the accommodation team are just using chatgpt responses and arent giving me a suitable room and the admissions arent giving my £500 deposit back 😭

I wish people would realise and so that either they close the uni or they finally realise that nobody is joining and they fix themselves...

Speak for yourself mate, I’ve had a very easy experience and the majority has as well. I’m assuming you cancelled your accommodation past the 17th of May, it states on their cancellation policy that it’s non-refundable past that date so maybe educate yourself rather than depict them as the bad guy. Saying it’s a “horrible overrated uni” is opinionated, you clearly have no basis and considering you’ve applied there and for the accommodation, you haven’t even sat year 1 yet so your opinion is irrelevant lol. Go fix up this same message on a lot of KCL posts mate

(breath of relief) a true KCL warrior. But tbf I haven't had an easy experience per say. However I always wonder if its just propaganda to boot KCL to the ground like these people. Perhaps they think its an overrated university but it still does better than most unis in the UK (as we are 24th overall) and we are 40th best in the world, how are they always saying we are overrated. They most likely didn't get in.

As good as what exactly? And you backed out because you had one bad experience that you think will last you an entire year. Alright and that really doesn’t give you the right to project your own problems on everyone else. Most people aren’t disabled yet u villainise the accommodation team as if they’re going to commit wrong doings on everyone. Considering your motivation through this entire venture, I’d say you’re partially responsible for the outcome here.
