You can only add a single clearing choice at any time.
The best fit is going to depend on what you’re looking for

Hey @Debzolu 👋

Congratulations on receiving all of those offers through clearing.

As people have already advised, unfortunately you can only add one uni/course on UCAS - so it's important that you make the right decision.

These all seem like great options for economics, so it depends on which of these are more appealing to you. Have you looked at the course modules, placement opportunities, support networks available, clubs/societies/accommodation, local area, student reviews/experiences, online campus tours etc for each of these unis? If so, I'd recommend doing this as there may be one that stands out to you most after doing this research.

Best of luck in making your decision - I'm sure you'll make the right one😀

Hi @Debzolu

Congratulations on your offers! You can only add one clearing choice via UCAS, so make sure you are super happy with your choice.

A few of my friends study economics at the UEA, they have found the course to be super interested and very rewarding. One of my friends is about to start a year abroad in Amsterdam and another is on a placement with Enterprise! It’s definitely worth checking out, the assessments are also often split between group work and solo work which adds a nice balance to the course. I would recommend speaking to our current economics students through Unibuddy. Here is the link https://www.uea.ac.uk/ask-us

I’ve also added a link to our economics course, so you can check out the modules and the read through a course overview😊 https://www.uea.ac.uk/course/undergraduate/bsc-economics

Any other questions do feel free to ask!
Wishing you the best

Hi @Debzolu

That is great that you have offers for Economics. If you have any questions about UEA and Economics at UEA please let me know, as I studied Economics during my time here at UEA and about to continue on at UEA for my Masters in Banking and Finance.

As @UEA Rep Tiffany said Economics at UEA is really great! It has a nice split between maths/econometrics and workplace skills, as well as macro and microeconomics. They also have a lot of fields that are upcoming and really interesting such as behavioural economics and environmental economics and an ability to do a dissertation. There are so many modules to pick from especially in final year. You can also get the opportunity to do a year in industry or year abroad which is great to facilitate studies too. You get a nice mix of independent study and exams, as well as group work and presentations but all depends on the modules you choose aswell. If you have any questions about the modules please let me know. 🙂

Will send you a link to the modules on offer: https://www.uea.ac.uk/course/undergraduate/bsc-economics
Please take a look at these, if you have any questions or would like to know more on them, please send all questions my way as I have probably done the module! 🙂

UEA as a whole is a very welcoming environment- in Economics as well they have maths support sessions and extra sessions if needed in a lot of the modules. It is also very highly ranked for Economics being in the Top 20 in the UK for Economics (Guardian Univeristy Guide 2024), We also have very good career services such as career central that can really help in CV building, etc.

If you have any questions about it all, please do reply 🙂

And congratulations on your offers 🙂

Hello

Congratulations on being offered a place on our Economics course at The University of Leicester.

Economics is a hugely popular course here and you will engage with modern policy issues and economic analysis, and develop analytical abilities and critical appraisal skills. These are particularly beneficial transferable skills for graduate employment and will prepare you for a career in the public or private sector, whether that be in financial services, business management or the Government Economic Service. Your time here will also equip you with the research techniques that are vital to postgraduate study. Job prospects are excellent, with 95% of our economics students employed (or studying for a Master’s) six months after graduating (The Uni Guide).

In addition all of our economics degrees are accredited by CIMA, the professional body of management accountants.

If you do have any further questions about the course please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
