What are the best revision methods for these subjects? WJEC

Im going into year 13 as of now and im unhappy with the results i gained in AS (BCB)
My weakest point is english language, but i am dedicated to put much more time this year into revision. Im worried i may not be able to do the uni course i want unless i try new ways of revising. (Need At least AAB)
Whats the best ways to revise for each subject? I take the following :

-Psychology
-English Language
-Criminology

For psychology, make sure you learn all the content in detail and you can sort of predict the questions from the content so make essay plans with key names, make sure you learn the names and the exact study/finding which you can use. Learn some general evaluation points that you can use in every evaluation essay e.g any study can be argued as reductionist and learn the analysis to go with why reductionism is a weakness. Supporting evidence can always be used as a strength. For the content use
the textbook mainly and highlight the key points and narrow it down so you can learn it. Hope this helps

I take combine English and psychology. Basically I’m in the same boat as you here in terms of increasing revision time next year. For psychology I’m planning to also use and make a bunch of essays plans and write timed essay. Im very scared abt the research methods section because I really struggled in the in year 12…

i was okay w unit 2 but only because i put so much revision into it AND for some reason thought id be fine with one week revision because my lecturer gave me the content 2 weeks before the exam. I am never doing that again to say the least…. but yeah essay plans help so much. English WILL be the death of me
