Cardiff Uni Optometry - typical weekly timetable for 1st year student?

My daughter is due to go to Cardiff Uni to study Optometry. She is hoping to work part-time whilst studying full-time. Can anyone share with us there first year timetable and/ or tell us about how many hours per week she is likely to be studying Optometry at Uni? Thanks!

Hi, I'm a student that just finished my first year at Cardiff University for optometry and I typically had 10-12 hrs of lectures/clinics/workshops a week combined. There was about 18 weeks of content actually taught (Christmas and Easter holidays is up to you if you want to revise) and I did enjoy it, at the start of the year they mentioned for each hour of taught content we should revise topics ourselves for 2-3 hours (this is what I should've done as I will be retaking some modules this year again 😅). Hope this helped and I'm sure your daughter will enjoy studying optom at cardiff.
