Congratulations on your offers!

First of all, there are a few things to consider when choosing a psychology based course. The main thing is whether or not you need a BPS accreditation for what you want to do in the future. Pure psychology undergraduates tend to be more likely to have accreditation than joint majors due to the volume of content required by the BPS. This accreditation is important if you wish to go into a job role with 'psychologist' in the title. However, this accreditation is not the be-all-end-all as there are still plenty of jobs you could qualify for without it (and you can always take a psychology conversion MSc which would give you the accreditation anyway).

Secondly, I would recommend considering which university you think you would be the happiest at. Which campus / city do you prefer? Does it have the extracurricular activities that you are interested in? Choosing a university purely based on ranking or titles is not always the best choice for an individual ( and there are plenty of non Russell group universities that have high student satisfaction, teaching quality, and employability stats).

Lastly, try to consider which course you think you would find the most interesting. Would you miss the business aspect if you only majored in psychology or would you rather go in depth in one subject only?

Best of luck with your decision.

When u said pure psychology majors have more accreditation does that mean that if I want to become a clinical psychologist the BPS wont accept my degree as I am confused?
The course with joint honours is BPS accredited?

Psychology degrees are accredited or they aren't. Psychology and Business BSc at Aston University is accredited, as well as the pure Psychology BSc degree of the University of Birmingham, so don't worry about that - you will be able to become a psychologist with either degree if that's what you want.

I honestly have got no clue which of these degrees would be "more employable", although I'd assume it largely depends on what you want to do after university. Or it might not even matter - a great deal of the job market for university leavers just requires you to have a degree, regardless of what you studied!
