UCAS questions

Hi, I'm Giuseppe, an Italian student applying for university in the UK. I have some doubts about two questions on the UCAS website. First, I am asked to enter the start date of the course, but I don't know that. What should I put? An approximated date?
Second, I am also asked to add my school exam centre number (even if this is optional), but I have never heard of it. Maybe it's something we don't use in Italy.
Furthermore, should I add the qualification I'm studying for even if I don't have it yet?
Thank you for your answers.

Hi Giuseppe, if you cannot find a specified start date, I would just put an estimation or if you can find the future term/semester dates for that university on their website, use that starting date. I haven't used UCAS for a while, so I'm not certain, but that's what I would do. I do know that you put in qualifications that you're studying for. You should be able to write the start and end dates for each qualification so when you put down an end date that is in the future, I think it automatically doesn't require you to put a result in as you obviously don't have that yet.
Unfortunately I don't know what to do about the centre number. (The centre number is just used to sort out exams as they are assessed externally - when you sit each exam, you usually have to write your individual candidate number (unique to each student) and centre number (unique to each institution)). Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
Start date for your degree course will be either September 2025 or, if you want a gap-year, September 2026.
