Payments blocked

Hi TSR SFE Team,

I recently received an offer to study Computer Science at King's College London, and my Student Finance England application for a Tuition Fee Loan was approved on the 16th of August. However, when I logged into my account today, I noticed that my payments are showing as "blocked."

I haven’t enrolled yet at King's, as they haven’t sent out any enrollment emails to us. Is this situation normal, and should I be concerned about the blocked payments?

Hi Kausar, we can't open screenshots on here but if you've only just been approved then yes your payments would be blocked typically so we can then validate your National Insurance Number. This is typically sent on the nearest Wednesday and returned the following Wednesday and then unblocked overnight. So do monitor this towards the end of next week for these changing from 'blocked' to 'approved'. Thanks, Jason
