is it worth getting my a level history paper remark?

My teacher is suggesting (after looking at exam scripts) i get my OCR britain paper (Y113) remarked while I got an A (8 off an A* and comfortable 10 from a B). On my paper it seems i was downgraded for an example which the exam report deemed valid resulting in me getting 7/20; with my teacher also saying my 17/30 source question was overly harsh and instead i deserved 13/20 and 20/30.

I’ve gotten into my firm but would want to strive for an A* for if i later decide to do a masters and would appreciate further advice on how/ if to proceed considering the mark gap

Given that your university place doesn't depend on the result, you can go about this carefully by getting just one paper reviewed first. If that mark goes up, then have another paper reviewed. Given that you're only 10 marks from a B it would be dangerous to get all / both papers reviewed at once, as each might go down by sufficient points that it'd cause you problems.

Personally, I think 8 marks is too much of a gap to make up, but I can understand the desire for that A*.
