Apprenticeship

I am starting an optical assistant apprenticeship tomorrow, im unsure what i want to after. Just wondering if i continue a degree through specsavers will i have a graduation like the students who go to university? This is something i have always wanted but im not sure university is for me.
Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hey I also did an optical assistant apprenticeship then transferred too a degree apprenticeship in optics it is a very good career progression after this degree I plan on going into optometry or orthoptist. You have to be patient

I unfortunately left my apprenticeship and went to college to study btec law criminology and psychology
I want to go uni next year to study law

You can do a degree apprenticeship in optics? I didn’t know these were available! Where did you find one?

Hi I unfortunately left my degree apprenticeship known as level 6 Opthalmic dispensing I found the degree intolerable. You can get into to it through city and islington Bradford and Kent ABDO however due the increase of these apprenticeship comes concerns to the optic industry.
