Teaching Assistant

I have a level 3 teaching assistant qualification. I have applied to jobs and have got one through agency.
I do want to progress to a teacher one day but cant afford uni fee, nor want to take out loan.

Can i do a level 4course then work my way up?

Hi @Missgymnast123 ,
in order to become a fully qualified teacher, you need to have a degree ( level 6 qualification) and GCSE Maths, English for secondary and science for primary then you have to train as a teacher. If you do have some experience, there might be more training options. However, the minimum requirements stated above are a must.
