Trigonometric rules (eg. sine, cosine)

Do the sine and cosine rules work for a right-angled triangle?

Yes. The cos rule reduces to pythagoras and the sin rule is just the usual side ratios. Why not try and show this?

A common way to prove/derive the cos and sin rules is to drop a perpendicular or altitude and form right triangles. So if you have a right triangle in the first place, its just the usual relationships.
