Hey! Sorry I’m not of any help but I was wondering how you found the course? I’ve seen mixed reviews that it’s difficult with no tutor support how did you find it? Thank you

Thank you! I’ve heard they give you an online certificate of completion does this include the results of what you have done and is it something to use for university?

It’s not bad it normally takes 14 days for them to mark your assignments however I paid for fast track so they mark within one day. Tutors support are good it’s just difficult to get to reply to you within the same day as it normally takes atleast 24hours for a respond. They do help you tho.

That's correct. They only issue online certificates, and you have to send it to your chosen university. In my case, because I completed it within the deadline, UCAS sent it to the university. I did an Access to Midwifery course, applied to five universities, received offers from all of them, and was accepted by my firm choice, which indicates that the qualification is well recognized. If you can manage the course, it’s better than my local college, which has a culture of favoritism and biased results. If I could go back, I would still choose to do it online with Learn Direct, despite the tutor support being next to zero (I didn’t mind because I have a deep knowledge of the subject anyway).

How long did it take you to complete it please? I’m so worried about starting it ! Also how much is fast track?
Also did you get your first choice ?

I started as a part-time course in December 2022, then paused it due to circumstances. I resumed it again and finished it in six months. I got my firm choice and paid around £120 for the fast track service. Otherwise, it takes ages to get your assignment back (usually around 7-10 days). Particularly if it is a return assignment or a resubmission, it can take more than a month in that case.
I would remind you be very careful with study materials and do not rely on them as mine was almost 50% incorrect.I had to contact the tutor and mention that they are delivering incorrect information.

I started August 2023 and finished not so long ago. It’s very flexible, I’ve worked a full time job while also doing this course so you can take your time on it as long as you get them done by the set date so if you want to go university, you will have to finish by June 30th. Fast track is 1 day after you submit your assignment

Hi I’m still waiting for mine. How long are you waiting?
Hey, I’m in the exact similar situation I have been given a conditional space at my university and I am one unit away from completion, (also paying for fast track) I just want to know what do learn direct send you when you finish that 18th unit in terms of email or what shows up on the portal, is there any message ?

Once completing all units you’ll get an email saying congratulations and what the next steps will be (talking about board ratification and the timeframe of this). But you won’t receive your certificate for a little bit afterwards
