University of Southampton accepting offer help

I got an offer to study a course at southampton and I applied through clearing by calling them and I told them that I do not have a ucas application I have a ucas ID but I don’t have an application where I can accept an offer and they said that’s fine. Today was the last day for me to accept and I accepted the offer but took me to ucas and turns out I need to accept through that. But i obviously cannot. I really want this course and I don’t know what to do. I want to call tomorrow morning and see what they say. I think they should give it me honestly because I did say I won’t be able to accept an offer through ucas. Any advice ? Do u think they’ll still offer me tomorrow or will my place me gone it’s apprantly still there till today 11:59 so shouldn’t be gone by 9am when I call. Anyone know if it will ?

So i made an account last year because I took a gap year and with college I made an application at that time which was processed and accepted through my tutor. After that in the gap year I had that same ID number but obviously no application as you have to remake one and I never did.

You dont have a current application. You cannot use last year's application - that is now dead You will have to set a new one up very quickly just for 2024 Clearing.

Just ring them and explain that you misunderstood and will be submitting a UCAS application today. Check if they need and academic reference in your situation. And ask them to extend your deadline to add them as a clearing choice (and to confirm that in writing)

What If I can’t submit my application today. I’m a former student at a college as a I took a gap year and I don’t think anyone at that college is available to process that application. I did email them but no one has gotten back to me regarding it.

That's why you ask if they need a reference. If they don't need a reference then you don't need to submit your application through your college you can get UCAS to unlink it from your college buzzword and just tick the "no reference required" box and submit straight away.
