Should I take alevel psychology?

Im in year 11 and I don’t really enjoy essay subjects eg. history at gcse but I love biology and if the content interests me I don’t think I’d mind writing essays. A lot of people say they regret this subjects so I don’t know if I should do

Bio, psych, economics
Or
Bio, economics business

…at alevel and I don’t want to regret my choices for picking psychology

Look at career options - becoming a clinical/educational psychologist can take 8 years or more of study and work experience, but the job prospects may be worth the study if you are interested. Psychology alevel counts as a science for most uni applications - if you are unsure on what you want to do in a future it may be a good option as most BSc degrees in top unis ask for 2 sciences !

yeah im going to be a bit biased and say alevel psychology. I know ppl who do both alevel psychology and business and they HATE business. Also if you want to study a degree thats related to economics & business, universities dont really like it when student do both subjects as they see those subjects as 'one'.

See if you can pick 4 A levels to see how they'd be like then you can drop one in yr 13 if you don't like one of them

Taking econ and business in combination sometimes isnt recommended by some top unis so be weary of that 🙂 also if you plan to go into STEM then a lot of degrees will want 2 sciences subject or biology and another science (psych counts as a science quite often) so if you want to keep your options open I would opt for Biology, Psych and Econ
