Lancaster uni accommodation

Hi I've got a place at Lancaster for 2025. I know it's far off but I've been thinking about accommodation. I want a quieter college but Lonsdale and cartmel are too expensive. Which one would be best for shared bathroom, not too expensive and relatively quite as I don't really party and am a light sleeper.
Hi,

I personally have yet to stay in a shared bathroom accommodation (only stayed in the ensuite @Pendle). I believe Pendle's shared bathroom accommodations can be a good choice from what I know from my friends. It is located closer to south of campus, not as busy as there won't really be academic buildings surrounding it, just accommodations.

Though in terms of the flat itself, I definitely can't guarantee how quiet it gets because it might depend on the flat mates that you'll end up with. Though from my personal experience it's never been an issue, even if there is one you can always discuss any problems together as a flat .

Do you know how many weeks the contract is usually for?

Hi, most contracts are typically 40 weeks- although some accommodations do offer slightly shorter or longer lengths. As for 'quietness' my opinion is that Pendles shared bathrooms would be on average the quietest shared bathroom accommodation on campus, although it will vary completely on what flat mates you get etc.
