I have a room in Crown Place that I need a replacement tenant for, it's right in the city centre so less than 10min walk from all the university buildings. The room is a 'two bed apartment plus' so its ensuite and you share your kitchen with 1 other person. The rent is also slightly cheaper than what is advertised on the website before I booked it a while ago. Let me know if you're interested

Hey, I know it's disappointing to be allocated someone slightly further away, however, Langstone is a really nice area. It's recently been renovated and there is a free Uni bus that takes you to and from campus. Also - if you were to get a bike or if you have one already it's only a 10 min ride away from campus.

Would hate for you to get caught out by private halls which are often more expensive and won't offer you the same support as our uni housing team will. Also if you dislike it, you can contact the housing team in hopes someone leaves their rooms in other halls which you prefer and get transferred there.

Hope this helps - let me know if you have any other questions

On Insta there is a feed called 'University of Portsmouth Freshers 2024' and people keep posting in there with rooms in Chaucer and Greetham that they are trying to find people to take over the tenancy. Seem legit.

This isn't in conjunction with the University so please be careful!
