resit, gap year, apprenticeship? advice pls:)

hiii so i jus wanted some advice cuz i literally feel stuck and dont know what to do
so i ended up getting CCC in my a levels (english lit, crim and history) which im not very happy with. i was aiming for a B at least in both crim and english but ended up being 5marks off a B in english and 4 off in crim so i have asked for a remark but idk if they will allow it. (what are the chances? are those marks too risky?) if they do and im able to move up then thats great but if they dont then im considering resitting in my gap year. i’ve also seen that a lot of the time grades dont move up or sometimes go lower so idrk. anyways option 1 is to resit which im rlly iffy abt cuz i feel like i dont have the energy to go through a levels again especially after the toll it took on me but i also want to prove that i can get higher but idk

i aim to do an apprenticeship which is why i wanted my grades to atleast have some Bs in there lol (i know many still take Cs but yanno). im thinking between law and IT( i know my options dont rlly correlate but i have done several courses outside of school) and if i take a gap year once i decide which area to go into i wld do some online courses and try find some work experiences to push my chances of getting a good place as i know they are very competitive but im afraid that my grades will affect my chances as well (esp if i pick law because of my subjects). i was looking into degree apprenticeships vs normal apprenticeships but wld also like advice on that as well. i literally dont know what to do and want to decide if i wanna resit by september so if anyone could jus give any advice/ have been in a similar situation that wld be nice

Definitely ask for a remark, especially since the marks are only 4/5. You should risk it, I know I would. As for law, although it might not be ideal, look at the universities that have the lower entry requirements and you can check if you're eligible for contextual offers.

From my recent experience with applying for degree apprenticeships (tech), your grades are only one factor, which recruters will look at (I think the least one). Yes, you have to meet minimum requirements with your A levels, but what is more important is how you will do your tests, interviews, assessment centres, etc. And for most tech degree apprenticeships you would need a t least one STEM A level. Good luck!

Hello, I'm also applying to degree apprenticeships this year. This is something new I recently started researching after reconsidering whether or not i really want to do dentistry. Can you please give me more information about what the exams and interviews are like.
