University of Stirling fresher

I’m going to study accounting and finance at Stirling. I’ve read very positive reviews from students saying that it’s an on-campus uni so it’s very safe. The uni is very well-known for its beautiful nature and scenery, sporting excellence, and quiet town with not much of a party life, which totally fits my preferences.

I’m very introverted and tend to be awkward around people. I don’t know if I’ll get along with people at uni. I hope I’ll make friends. I’m very nervous right now because I don’t know what to expect when I get to Stirling! Does anyone else feel this way?

I'm thinking about doing the same course in a couple of years too. I live near Stirling and the uni like you said has got great walks around the campus and has lots of sport facilities. There is also a library and a cinema I think.

By the way, have you got any tips on what I should do - Stay on to S6 or go do a HND in accounting and then 2 years at uni??

5A’s are amazing results to expect. I got AAAB last year and have an unconditional offer for Stirling. I’m hoping to go to offer older day.

Stirling is a lovely, relaxed, friendly campus and gave me the best feel out of all I visited and one of my top choices (still waiting to hear back from others).
