undergraduate psychology

hiii, im a student currently studying in A-levels, predicting ABB- BBB. and i really want to study psychology as my undergraduate degree. mostly focusing children and youth as my personal statement and work experience lead me to there. may i know if any university provides courses that has these and are in m league? preferably close to london but doesnt have to be in london. thanks so much
PS may i also know if there are any professors that are doing research in these fields that i can read about?
Hi Emmy,

The one that pops into my head is the University of Reading, and it would largely depend on whether there are areas you wish to specialise in other than children and young people.

The reason I suggest UoR is the Centre for Autism Wellbeing Hub, which was an initiative, funded by University of Reading Alumni and launched in 2023. Having this centre on campus means there are many opportunities for psychology students in research and professional development.

Hope this helps 😊
In order to be accredited there has to be modules looking at different aspects of psychology, including developmental. 3rd year tends to give you an opportunity to choose modules that go into more depth on certain topics, but they will change depending on the lecturers at the time
