Should I take FP2 or FP3

Do they have the same difficulty? Also which one might be more useful

I would say the usefulness really depends on what you want to do post A level.

In terms of difficulty, the grade boundaries for FP3 have been consistently lower in recent series of exams, perhaps indicating that the FP2 paper is easier.

Another point about "usefulness":

The truth of the matter is that, unless you really look into science/academia, which will be at least 10 years from now (that's a long time!), almost none of the maths you learned so far beyond basic arithmetic will be useful in most workplaces. So just pick what looks interesting to you.
