Good morning @Anonymous ,
It's great to hear you are thinking of coming to the Univeristy of Reading.
When students arrive on campus you will be instructed to eat to te centre of whiteknights campus ( student ambassadors will guide you), you will then start enrolment.
During the enrolment process, you will enter the Palmer building and be greeted by more univeristy ambassadors. You will then need proof of your if (usally a passport), and then your campus card is printed. Every student is given a lanyard with there campus cards.
You have the option to upload your photograph online during your application confirmation. This is on our RISIS applications platform, which is given to students. However, there is also the option to have your photograph taken when you enroll, I opted for this method.
During welcome week, there is a range of activities that take place both via the Univeristy and for students off campus in the town centre.
You will have the option to attend lots of activities such as the freshers fairs (societys,sports,careers and local shops stalls). There is also a range of free food and drink, and lots of taster sessions to get involved in. There is an app where you can see the timetable of events, it is called UoR welcome app, and will have lots more information in the first few weeks of September. I recommend downloading this app, as it helps know what is going on.

Hi, as far as I remember from last year when I joined UoR, we uploaded our picture for the campus card along with the E-Induction which should be available around 3 weeks before welcome week I believe. Please forgive me if I am misremembering.

The application confirmation is when you successfully accept a place as a student at the University of Reading; this will follow a successful results day or via clearing.
Once the place is confirmed, you will have a list of steps to perform, such as filling in key details, and you will be able to upload a picture if you wish to.
Unforutnly, I do not have an exact date for this, and the process can vary every year.

In this case, once enrollment begins, you should be able to upload a photo. Please keep an eye out for an email with instructions for this, which will probably arrive around early September.
