Why study Adult Nursing at Bradford

Did you know that healthcare students can receive a Training Grant of £5,000 a year in funding as part of the NHS Learning Support Fund?

You can choose from a 3-year BSc or a 4-year MNurse course. It's an equal amount theory and clinical practice too so you'll experience lots of different aspects of healthcare.

You'll have access to a suite of purpose-built practice simulation suites, which allow you to be taught and to practice your core clinical skills, from bed making, moving patients and taking blood pressure to giving injections, ward rounds and dispensing medication, and simulation of the seriously ill person using our interactive models! 🙌

Kirsten shares her experience of the course with us below.

"You get to practice clinical skills. You might do some cannulation training on fake arms, you might do basic life support on dummies that've got chests that measure your pressure. Some have fake wounds that you can dress. You get that really diverse range of education because you never know what you're going to experience when you're in clinical practice."

"There are previous nurses and senior management; they share their knowledge with us and they make our course more interesting by bringing it to home."
