about applying for sixth form...

Hi I'm in year 10 going into year 11 in september. My dad has told me that this was a good time to start looking up and applying for sixth form but now I'm thinking isn't this a little early??? And also I have barely any clue on how applying works...which is a bit embarassing. There's also the issue of scholarships?? Like is applying for scholarship before applying for sixth form or vice versa? And then I've heard there's s'posed to be an application deadline and now I'm thinking WHEN IS THAT??
Overall there's a lotta questions but mainly I just want to know how everything works and how worried I should be about it
Looking into sixth forms now is about right- your school will help you with this though when you get back to school! In year 11 I had to submit my sixth form application by December and you want to know about your options before then obviously. Most people at my school went to open evenings at the end of year 10/start of year 11 depending on when the sixth forms held them.
Your school should give you all the information you need to apply and support with all the steps of your application so dont stress
Unsure about scholarships, will probably depend on the school so consider contacting them or ask at open evenings.
At this point I think you would be wise to pick some subjects you’d like to study (maybe 6 or so ideas) because that will make it easier to narrow down options based on the courses they offer as well as other factors. If you want to look into specific sixth forms then you could use Locrating to find ones in your area.

God, that's a relief...I was so worried that I was going to have to figure things out myself for a second
thanks a lot for telling me
