What was this years average UCAT treshold for University of Leeds? Can someone who got an interview or an offer tell me what they got in their ucat? thanks

I received a med offer from them this year, I had around 2700 in my UCAT and Band 2 in SJT. I think anything above 2500 should be fine as long as u meet the other requirements too. Good luck!!

that’s interesting not sure that you could extrapolate that 200 fewer points would be enough for interview, though!
even the most recent post A level result, last minute, offers have been more in the ball park of 2750, though expect lower for contextual/ access applicants
we won’t get definitive information, but if someone wanted to trawl the ‘which medicine school should I apply to’ for this year and search for who got Leeds interviews, that would give an idea as might the A100 thread for UoL

Leeds primarily use GCSEs for shortlisting, scoring 8 GCSEs for 24 points and then UCAY is worth 5, with each quintile of their scores being worth a point. So UCAT will depend on GCSEs, but pretty well full marks for GCSEs and 2nd quintile (of their applicants) has been needed, unless contextual

HiMy son got 2620 B1 on his UCAT. He also got straight nines for GCSE and has a prediction of three A*. Would it be too risky to apply to Leeds or if it’s ok

Hello, congratulations on your sons ucat score and GCSEs, Leeds entry requirements is 3 As, they don’t rate A* being higher than A so I think GCSEs and Ucat are importing for shortlisting. I spoke to someone that got an interview with 2600 on Ucat, I think your son would be able to get an interview but I can’t speak for certain as UCAT averages change each year, hope that helps
