Bath uni accommodation

My son had Bath university as his insurance choice and so could not register for accommodation in the first round. He has now been accepted to attend this September, but has got to apply for what is left.

Did this happen to anyone else? And were you offered accommodation or did you have to find private accommodation? We are worried sick!

If you pop Bath and or Bath accommodation into the search bar you should be able to find threads from last year. From memory I think they were really helpful in assisting but see if you can find the threads. If not a Google search - Bath accommodation student room is another way to bring up previous threats as when I’m on the app it only lets me look back so far, probably a way to extend it but I’ve not fathomed it out. Best of luck for your son - what course will he be doing ?

Your son is certainly not alone and there will be accommodation still available. I'd recommend reaching out to the university accommodation team for clarification and looking into private accommodation as well, this way you can assess your options and find an accommodation that is right for your son.

Maths and statistics. We put our request in for university accommodation on 20th August from what accommodation was left over from the first allocations and are waiting for their response, due 28th August si fingers crossed he gets something.

Thank you. We have applied for a room from what is left over from the first round of allocations. Only 3 options on campus, and the rest in the city. Its fingers crossed until we hear on 28th August now.

We are in the same position, and I'm incredibly worried as we no longer live in the UK - so our daughter will be alone, and (at present) without accommodation when she is due to leave in two weeks.

We are still waiting too as an insurance place holder.
