It's worth noting that under current plans you also wouldn't be able to take a gap year after the CertHE. LLE funding is due to kick in in from Jan 2026 onwards and under LLE you wouldn't be funded for year 1 of the MOptom as under LLE students will be capped at 4 years funding (or the equivalent of £37k in tuition fee loans) in total.

Thanks for letting me know! Hopefully, upon completion of the certHE I plan to go straight into optometry!
