questions about aru

i've been trying to log into the aru accom portal for days now, but it keeps telling me my credentials are wrong! i've tried resetting my password, but i never receive the email to do it. i know i'm using the right email, as all the receipts for my accommodation deposit, etc. were sent to it. i know when my course starts, but i'm unable to check when my tenancy agreement does. i'm getting a bit worried, since i've been told that ARU would send an email with information about moving in a month in advance, but i haven't received one yet.

a friend of mine, who is also going to aru, has also told me i'm supposed to have completed a registration task that asks for you to send in a picture of your ID and a picture to use on your student ID. i've been able to log into e:vision, but i was never asked for these things?

and regarding rent: am i able to adjust the payment schedule? the aru website states that students can pay in either 3 or 6 instalments, but i never got the option to choose. is this something included in the registration task my friend mentioned?

not too sure what's going on. i'm the first person in my family to go to university, and my school refused to help me whatsoever, so all of it has been confusing. maybe someone who knows a bit more about this process can help me out?
Which accom are you staying in, I'm gonna be in CB1! I'd try emailing the accommodation team directly which you can find on the aru website and asking them.

im somewhere on the chelmsford campus haha. the accommodation portal says their booking system is down for maintenance until the end of this month, but i'm not sure if that's why i can't log in. are you still able to get into your account, find your tenancy agreement, etc?

I recommend calling up the accomodation staff :smile:

It's better to make them aware of this as soon as possible, so that they can fix this. They will also be able to guide you if they require any further information from you

Oh that's weird. My account is all set up already. I just looked on the website and it says chelmsford's email is [email protected] and their number is +44 (0)1245 683110. I'm not sure if you've tried this already, but if not it's definitely worth a shot.
