IAL Edexcel- Maths- do grades usually drop in A2

Hi All,

I had Maths, Bio, Chem in A1 and got my results with a D in Maths, C in Bio and E in Chem.

I am dropping Chem and taking either Business Studies or Psychology for my second year (and would try to do it in 1 year as I took Pyschology and Business Studies in my IGCSE and got A grade). Do you think its doable?

1. The universities I have shortlisted required a BBC at minimum or better (ACC would also work but not a D). So I need to get a C in Maths at minimum.

2. I got D in P1 (57 UMS) and for a C in S1. I need to take P2 in October. Now I spoke to my class teacher and he mentioned that P3, P4 are significantly harder that P1,2 and he thinks that students grades are usually drop in P3,4. How it order to get an C, I need to resit P1, take P2 in October and then get at least C in P3, P4. My class teacher is

Otherwise I need to drop maths and take Psychology, Business studies and try to do in 1 year.

Can you please share your experience with P3, P4 IAL Edexcel maths (do grades usually drop?) and whether I can get a C or better overall ?

( C in Maths, B in Bio and A/B in Psychology or Business is what I need minimum).

PS: I got private tuitions outside school and did a lot of practice for Maths. however I did not get the output. My handwriting is quite bad so thinking it is because of that or due to the fact that I have mild ADHD).
