I have just had my final interview today. I think it went well (it was for the legal grad role though so not much use to anyone in this thread I don’t think) but it was quite a relaxed interview. They followed the normal procedure of 5-6 behaviour style questions and 3 technical questions. The technical questions were very specific to the role.

All in all, it was a pleasant experience and hopefully I’m not waiting too long to hear back!

Thank you for sharing, fingers crossed everything goes well! What were the technical questions like may I ask?

I’ll not go into specific detail but it was odd because they tell you they are based on the job advert but the legal grad advert was so vague and when I got onto the interview they explained in much greater detail about the role and what specific area it was in and asked the technical questions based on that, which I felt was a little unfair, in my research I had come across some things about it so knew enough to devise an answer but yeah I was a bit confused as to why they’d chose such questions but the rest of the interview went well and it did give me a chance to show my in depth research 😂

Has anyone heard back for an interview for an engineering role salmesbury site, September 2025? Software, systems or airframe?

Just a heads up for anyone doing their informal interview, they asked me typical interview questions like "give me a time you have worked in a team", or "give me 3 reasons you are suitable for this role". i always blank on these but managed to come up with something, and she said she would recommend me for a final interview but it will be a 1-2 month wait to find out :0

Done my final interview today, I'm not sure how well I did tbh, felt like I had to repeat the same stuff a lot and the technical questions were quite in depth knowledge that is kind of hard to prepare for, you just have to think about it on the spot. Also the initial phone interviewer told me it was okay to bring notepad and pen and write down the question and my thoughts if I needed to. Guy at the interview told me NOT to do that cause its private information 😅

i had my final interview about a week ago for a hr role. i would say it was a much more relaxed interview than any others i had, but that i would agree the technical questions were difficult to think about on the spot and if i'd had more time to think i could have answered better! i'm still waiting for an outcome but not too hopeful, we'll see...

Hi, I have recently applied for the systems engineer grad scheme at BAE. Luckily I got through to final interview, but it’s coming up to two weeks now and I’ve still heard nothing. Getting a bit nervous now
Has anyone also applied for 2025 intake?

Read up mate

I did. Just saw another post mentioning the screening lasted 40 minutes, so I thought it might involve more than 2-3 questions. 😅
