I have a had kinda fake jobs, for my dads company. I dont know if that counts but I did recieve a pay check every month so i think it does count. But as for internships no.

Any idea about what sort of jobs and careers you would like to enter?

Did you apply for grad jobs in your final year? If so how did you get on?

I think if it were me I would look for some entry level job such as supermarket work to keep busy and to have good work place experiences to relay in interviews.

I’d also apply for grad jobs when they open around September at least in part to see how I got on and what I learned about the processes. Perhaps apply for statistics and data jobs with the civil service and ask for advice about entry to jobs in insurance actuaries sites.

I really recommend grad schemes at large companies , the roles are very broad so you won’t be stuck just doing one thing, and the opportunity for progression into new roles and fields are great! Companies invest so much into their graduates that you are definitely going to have a career as long as you wish to stay within that company
