Student loan abroad

I am a student in Wales and I wish to study medicine abroad, specifically in Bosnia. I've called student finance Wales about whether I'd still be applicable for a student loan, of which they came back stating that I wouldn't due to the course being based outside of the UK. I'd appreciate it a lot if anybody had any organisations or any form of advice to getting financial aid during my studies. I plan to move back after my studies to work as a doctor in the UK. Once again would appreciate the advice.
