Year 13 advice please :)

As I’m heading into Year 13, I’ve been reflecting on my summer holidays and feeling like I haven’t used the time as effectively as I wanted. I planned to revise all of my Year 12 content, but I struggled to stay motivated. With the last few weeks of summer ahead, I’m looking for ways to make the transition into Year 13 smoother. Any tips on how to use this time productively and ease into the new year would be greatly appreciated!

I would do past papers and see which areas you are weakest in. Then revise or strategise to work on your weakest areas.

Hi @Fish1735

If you are really keen to do something then I would go over the yr12 syllabus and highlight the areas you know you struggle with more or think there is the most room for improvement. Once you have identified these, I would revise the material and see if you can do some practice questions or past papers to help consolidate your knowledge before starting the next academic year. However, I wouldn't worry too much about doing lots now. Yr13 is an intense year and it is important to enter it feeling rested.

Ok thanks for the advice. I actually made a checklist of the content and highlight bits that need extra revision. Honestly, I feel as though I’ve ran out of time so I don’t think I’m going to do lots of revision, mainly just get small things done like writing up notes and sorting out my coursework.
