Wait till you get into school and ask your teacher. Not only will they be able to advise you but might be able to help you buy one at a discount.

The irony, is the further you progress in maths, the less you need a calculator. Calculators are for adding up. Nothing much to do with maths.

Casio fx-CG50

Also, you can go on your board's website to check recommended calculators.

For A-level Maths, you will need a calculator that is approved for use in exams and has the functionality to handle the advanced topics covered in the course. One highly recommended option is the Casio FX-991EX ClassWiz. It is popular among students for its user-friendly interface, advanced functions, and affordable price. Another strong contender is the Texas Instruments TI-30X Pro or the TI-84 series if you are looking for something with even more features, though they are generally more expensive. Check with your school or exam board to ensure the model you choose meets all their requirements. These calculators typically offer capabilities like handling complex numbers, matrix calculations, and statistical functions, which are very useful for A-level Maths. If you need more specific advice or help in comparing features, The Degree Gap can provide additional guidance.
