Lack of ambition

Hi I'm going into year 11 and I was just wondering if anyone else struggles with a lack of ambition, I have pretty much my whole life and I know that this year is important but its just so hard to get out of the mindset I really struggle with just like basic things, I don't even have a favourite subject or anything I'm good at I'm just like equally bad at everything. Has anyone else experienced this or has any advice?

Hi, It’s fine not to have much motivation going into year 12. It’s a much more relaxing year compared to year 11 so you won’t be too much on the go. I would say choose certain a levels that keep your options open for when it comes to picking your degree towards the end of year 12. Would highly recommend taking maths if you are able to keep up, as well as an essay subject, as it opens the door to lots of options.

i struggled with this a lot going into my gcses. my advice would be to find a career that really interests you and work towards that as that was the only thing that made me work hard as i want to do medicine and need good grades, i also found it helps to revise with friends as you feel pressured into being motivated since they are working hard. re the subjects - dont be so hard on yourself, its hard but everyone is good at something (sorry ik thats a bit cringy)
