Cambridge MML do i have to read all listed books

https://www.mmll.cam.ac.uk/fr1

Got an email saying these were advisory reading for first year starting this oct. I've watched the film, read a couple books, but i can't find all of them for free online and especially not the specific versions listed. Do i need to have read/bought them all because i can't tell if it's actually required or just suggested.

Hi, so just looking through: the seven set texts (six books and a film) it would be worthwhile obtaining your own copies of either physically or electronically (even if you can't find the version specified on Amazon) as you'll be expected to read them to attend lectures and write essays or commentaries on them. Anything that isn't a primary text, don't bother buying and borrow from the library

The page sets out the texts that you'll study before Christmas: they should be your priorities to read over the summer, and you can catch up over Christmas with reading any you don't get time to read now.

Have your college been in touch with you about any specifics yet? Generally speaking if you have any questions about what is going to be taught or how that you'd like a lecturer/supervisor to answer:
If it's about how your college is going to teach them via supervisions, contact your director of studies (who will usually be in touch at some point soon if not already)
If it's a question about the paper in general or the way it'll be taught across the faculty in lectures etc, contact the paper coordinator (who is Miranda Griffin this year according to the website she was my DoS in first year and is lovely :h:)
