Economics and history undergraduate degree at lse

Since I have not picked further maths for my A Level subject, I cannot do economics at LSE because the chance of me getting in is very low. So instead, I am thinking of applying for an economics and history degree there. I just wanted to know if this degree will have worth in the future, particularly for finance companies. I have heard from other finance companies that they do not mind what degree you do, they just care about the grade. So I'm in a dilemma. Also, I looked at the accounting and finance degree at LSE but I feel like that is not something I really enjoy.
