Debating on taking a gap year

Just finished my a levels and I got ABC and a Distinction Star, I have no clue what I want to do and I already have a offer for my firm but I don’t think it’s right for me. I’m thinking of going into law but I don’t have any of the skills necessary for it like public speaking or confidence. I’m really lost and I have no clue what to do. Shall I do a gap year or stick with university in September to do computer science?
Take a gap year there's no point in being unsure in what you want to do then waste 27k on something you later regret. As for law lots of law jobs don't actually require you to speak in a courtroom but speaking as someone who is a prolific stammerer who is also considering a career in law learning to be confident in front of others is always something you learn and get better at. Take your time find your passion then pursue it there's no shame in taking gap year.
