Recheck for my igcse exam. Should I?

Hey guysss
So edexcel's results justs came out today and i had given 2 exams, pakistan studies and physics. Soo i got an 8 in physics which was a little more than expected and im really happpy. For pakistan studiues i remeber working really really hard and i thought my paper went great and was expecting at least an 8 or more. But i got a 6 in that.( My mock results were 8/9s.)
I know, its all for the best but i just dont remember doing anything wrong in the exam and im having thoughts of getting it rechecked. I'll ask my parents too but what do you guys think? Should i get it rechecked, and if i do what are the possiblities of a grade increase as it is a bit costly.
Thanks.

I would recheck it. How did you get your iGCSE results? I looked on results plus and none of my 6 are out 😭

I would say quite a high chance your grade will improve if you are confident you should be at least 2 grades higher. Suggests something went wrong with the marking but you cannot know for sure.

Hey so from what ive heard from people is that the british council dosent really change the grade unless there was issue in counting the marks whuch is rare.
Is it worth the riskk?
Anyways tommorow the grade boundaries will be out and i'll see how many marks im off a grade.

They change the grade if the initial marker made a mistake applying the mark scheme. I would say it is if you were confident you did significantly better.
