Mmu car parking

Does anyone know the closest and cheapest car park to the Manchester Metropolitan University. Checked out the aquatics car park but it is £9 for 6 hrs which is far too expensive.

Hi @Hazk2506

I can't recommend the cheapest but I can say that there's plenty of car parks and pay and displays in close proximity to the uni. From what I know, most people park their cars around Hulme which is closer to the Birley campus.

Hope this helps!

NCP Manchester Circle Square, NCP Manchester Chester Street and SIP Car Park New Wakefield Street are all within a 5-10 minute walk. - Chloe

You’ll be better off parking for free on the street and catching a bus up to the uni

You might struggle to find unrestricted or free parking in this area

Perhaps it would be best to park down near plat fields park and catch a 142/143 or 42/43. if you buy single tickets your daily cost would come to £4
