Uni application help ?

I had a problem with ucas which is sorted now as I called the unis and explained so they extended my date to accept the offer. When I called I told them how my ucas application could not be accepted as it’s linked to my old college and I took a gap year so they can’t process and approve and add any references which is why they said to make an individual applicant application which I did I then added the course and I’m now waiting for confirmation. I’m just worried because in the offer it was an offer in principle which means they’re going to check against ucas referral. I’m just worried on what to do because they were aware that no one could provide a reference as it was unlinked from a uni. I’m just worried what to do if they decline. The uni is uni of southhapton

1) Nothing you can do about it now.
2) Did Southampton ask for a reference, or did you notify them you were submitting your application without one?

I notified them and doubled checked by calling them. And they told me what I need to submit next

I told I was submitting one without one and they said it’s okay. I called now to double check and it’s all good 👍
