Failed a resit in criminal law at bcu

I’m currently a student at BCU (Birmingham City University).
so I had to resit a presentation because I did not attempt it in the first place (I had depression stemming from an addiction). So I took the resit and unfortunately I did not pass it. What next for me? Do I get withdrawn? Do I get a second resit attempt or do I have to retake the whole course? I’m scared and do not want to pay extra or get withdrawn. Can anyone help?
P.S I’m in second year and currently a law student

I am sorry to hear that you were unwell and I hope that you are recovered. You will have to ask your university about its rules on resits. The rules vary from place to place. If you do have to leave the university, maybe work for a year or three and then re-try university as a mature student. Birkbeck and some other universities facilitate study alongside employment.
