There are lots of people who've been talking about doing a gap year next academic year: perhaps retaking some A Levels or doing other qualifications, perhaps just weighing up your options and applying to university, perhaps getting some job/life/travel experience before your next steps!

Hi!! my name is Amel and I'm now on my gap year. I'm hoping to get a part time job, whilst also volunteering for a reading charity and just various places. I also just want to get some new skills and prepare myself fully before going to the university of southampton in 2025. getting a job has been really hard tho lol
my fave drink is probably pineapple juice i haven't rly thought about it

Heyy, my name is Grace and I have chosen to take a gap year so that I can travel a bit before uni. I am going to Australia in January with my best friend, and until then I am working a full time job. After Australia I'd like to return to my current job, earn some more money and travel Europe a little, perhaps to France and Italy before I start my French (and Italian?) degree at The University of Edinburgh in September. My favourite soft drink is a crisp Diet Coke, especially when it's warm outside 🙂

Hi, I’m Soda and I’m hoping that I’m offered a tutoring position with yipiyap and that I learn to drive, travel more with family, learn to cook, pick up a new language and resit/ prepare for uni. After my gap year I plan to study physics or do a degree apprenticeship in engineering! My favourite soft drink is probably a lime soda :smile:
