My son got ucat score of 2740 sjt band 3.
Predicted grades AAA
GCSEs 888887777
Which ned schools can he apply to? Does he have a chance to get into a med school with these scores?

2700 and higher is usually good enough to get into some medical schools. As long as he didn't get band 4 he should be fine as med schools don't like band 4 at all, so band 3 should be fine for Russel groups (not Oxford or Cambridge).

His GCSE's depend on what other people at his school got. If he got higher than most people at his school, he has a good chance, as many unis try to look at overall school performance and compare it to a student's individual grades.
