If you haven't already, now would also be the time to complete the online registration part of enrolment - this can be found on the Solent applicant portal. I would suggest emailing one of the course lecturers, they are always more than happy to talk about the course in that level of detail. You can find this information on the Southampton Solent University, Biomedical Science webpage - BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science
If you then scroll down a little way, you will see the academic profiles to click on, giving you their email addresses. Have you also been to one of our Open Days ? You could then speak to a current student or academic and see the facilities 🙂

Hiya Nasyia!
I am a final year student doing biomed sci at Solent and its great to hear you are joining soon!
I know its been a long time since this post but thought it would be helpful to reply and give an idea of what to expect
From day 1 the lecturers get you involved in hands-on practical techniques and understanding the fundamentals of biomed. Lectures are really detailed and helpful and the lecturers have an open door policy so you can ask them for help when you need, the lecturers on this course are incredibly supportive and make the time at solent amazing!
Your welcome week will be a great time to get to know your cohort and the academic staff
From what I remember (bear in mind this may have changed in 3 years) there are 3-5 lectures a week nicely spread through the week. you will have a mix of lectures, practical lab sessions, and seminars. this will involve many different styles to help you understand the content.
There has been a recent upgrade to the labs at solent which will support your learning and give you the chance to work with a range of equipment and build your skills right from the start
