I finished the online assessment 5 days ago on the 15th. Still no update from them. Guess I'm rejected.

Not hearing from them.is sometimes good. How well did you attempt the assessment? Specially the ability one?

i honestly do not remember. I did so many assessments form other companies since then. Do they give an immediate feedback report? If you can help me remember what those ability tests were(switch test?) maybe I could remember haha. Also, I applied for the IT/Digital role.

does the ability test only consist of numerical problems or does it also include a verbal ability element? how hard were the tests, any prep advise?

It was mostly analytical, numerical and deductive reasoning. No verbal.
If you practice tests from shl site. That would be enough

Any update?

When did you do the tests? Did you get a rejection email?

I have completed the tests on 10 Oct, and received rejection email on 28 Oct, I am quite surprised considering I have done a lot of SHL tests, and I scored the same test for NatWest 85 numerical and 98 for both inductive & deductive reasoning tests. SSE replied that I have passed the test, and they are reviewing my CV, guess I did not pass the screening after passing the online assessment. Tho I would require visa sponsorship so that might be a factor

That's not nice. Which scheme did you applied for? Business energy or any other?
