Gcse results and wondering if I could get into oxford

Hi guys,
I just got my results and I'm really disappointed. I got 99888777776 and I'm wondering if Oxford is OK with those grades. What do you think?

You should be super proud of those results!
Oxford do take GCSEs into account but I would think those should be fine as they request applicants have a high proportion of 7-9s (which you definitely do!) and they consider them contextually also.
You have done amazing! Enjoy your results

Hey

First of all these are really good results and you should be proud of yourself. I know if you were expecting slightly different results it can be a shock at first but these are great results!

In terms of your question around oxford, this guide might be able to give you a little bit of a steer and hopefully ease your mind a little: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=6033950

It depends on the course, but your grades should be fine. Remember that your GCSEs only make up one part of your application.

Should be okay as long as you got 8/9s in the subjects most related to your degree choice. A full slate of top grades would be nice to have for your application but they will never care too much about irrelevant subjects e.g. a 7 in French if you are applying for natural sciences
