Does the university I’m applying to know that I declined an offer at another uni?

Also, am I officially enrolled in the university if I have accepted a deferred entry offer?
Hi there @big cauliflower

I will attempt to answer your questions to the best of my ability,

Firstly, I don't believe that by declining other Universities that your University of interest will know or recognise this. They do not have access to your UCAS account or your other various choices which means they would be unaware of your decisions.

In addition, you will only be enrolled into a university if you accept their offer directly. By accepting a deferred entry offer then you should be enrolled!

I hope this helps,

As UKC have said, however, you won't be 'enrolled' until you register with them when you start studying. You will have an offer but you won't be an enrolled student until you have registered 🙂 For example, you wouldn't be able to claim council tax relief which students can do, as you won't be enrolled and registered 🙂 Hope that makes sense!

That’s very clear thank you. My course is medicine so they said they have now CONFIRMED my offer but I won’t be enrolled until I fill in the health questionnaire next year. So I’m guessing I’m not enrolled yet
Enrolment is a seperate proces that you complete directly with the uni itself. If you have an offer for next year, you won't be invited to enrol yet. Enrolment is completely seperate to accepting and being placed on a course via UCAS.

And to clarify on the other question, for undergrad, yes unis can see your other course applications and decisions after you've made your Firm and Insurance choices. Basically not whilst your application is in process, but afterwards.

Exactly, but don't stress, enrollment is a straightforward process but the main thing is that you have your offer so congrats on that and enjoy next year as well as much as you can! 🙂
